Amboseli: Elephants and Mountain Landscapes
Explore Amboseli’s open plains and wetlands on guided game drives. Watch for elephants and other wildlife, with opportunities to photograph Mount Kilimanjaro when cloud cover clears.
Lake Naivasha: A Lakeside Break
Enjoy an included boat excursion with a local boat operator, looking for hippos and waterbirds from a safe distance. A guided Crescent Island visit can be added if timing and conditions permit.

7 Days Classic Kenya Private Midrange Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park
Your safari begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or an agreed meeting point. Meet your driver-guide and depart in your private 4×4 Land Cruiser for Amboseli.
Allow approximately 4–5 hours for the journey, depending on traffic, stops and your accommodation location. Arrive for check-in and lunch, then enjoy an afternoon game drive if arrival time permits. Explore the park’s open plains and wetlands, watching for elephants and other wildlife.
Accommodation: Kibo Safari Camp, Sentrim Amboseli or the property confirmed in your quotation.
Meals: Lunch and dinner.
Day 2: Full Day in Amboseli
Spend the day exploring Amboseli with your private driver-guide. Choose morning and afternoon game drives with a break at your accommodation, or a longer outing with a packed lunch, as agreed with your guide.
Look for elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes and birdlife. When the weather is clear, Mount Kilimanjaro provides a memorable backdrop. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
After an early breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha. This is the itinerary’s longest road transfer; allow approximately 6–8 hours, depending on traffic, stops and the route used.
Lunch will be arranged en route or at your accommodation, depending on progress. On arrival, check in and relax before your included boat excursion, where you can look for hippos and waterbirds with a local boat operator.
The boat trip is subject to safe lake and weather conditions. If arrival is late, it may be moved to the following morning where practical. Crescent Island is an optional additional activity and is not included in the base price.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 4: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara
After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara, travelling through the Rift Valley and Narok area. Allow approximately 5–6 hours, depending on road conditions, stops and your camp’s location.
Arrive for lunch where timing allows, or enjoy a packed lunch if necessary. Check in before an afternoon game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve. Return to your camp or lodge for dinner.
Accommodation: Mara Sopa Lodge, Jambo Mara Safari Lodge or the property confirmed in your quotation.
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 5: Full-Day Maasai Mara Safari
Enjoy a full day exploring Maasai Mara with your private driver-guide. A packed lunch allows you to spend more time in the reserve, with a picnic stop at a designated suitable location.
Search for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and other wildlife. Your guide will select areas according to current animal activity and conditions. During migration season, routes may include areas used by migrating herds where practical.
Accommodation: Same Maasai Mara property.
Meals: Breakfast, packed lunch and dinner.
Day 6: Another Day Exploring Maasai Mara
Spend another day discovering the Mara. Choose morning and afternoon drives or another full-day outing, agreed with your guide and subject to reserve opening hours.
This additional day gives you more time for photography, observing animal behaviour and exploring different areas. An optional hot-air balloon safari or Maasai cultural visit can be arranged at an additional cost and may replace part of the scheduled game-drive time.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Day 7: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast and check out before departing for Nairobi. No game drive is included on the final morning. Allow approximately 5–7 hours for the road journey, depending on your accommodation location, traffic and stops.
Lunch will be arranged en route. Your safari ends with drop-off at your Nairobi hotel or an agreed location. Airport drop-off can be included by prior arrangement once your flight timing has been checked. Avoid booking a tight flight connection after the road transfer.
