4-Day Masai Mara & Lake Nakuru Group Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Pick-up begins from selected hotels in Westlands and Kilimani before meeting the rest of the group at Nairobi CBD. Airport pick-up can be arranged upon request at an additional cost. Depart Nairobi and drive through the beautiful Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for amazing scenery and photography. Continue to Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your safari camp. Enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
Day 2: Full-Day Masai Mara Game Drive
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day shared game drive in the Masai Mara with a picnic lunch inside the reserve. Explore the endless savannah plains while searching for the Big Five, cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles and hundreds of bird species. During the Great Migration season (July–October), experience one of nature's greatest spectacles as millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the Mara ecosystem. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Masai Mara before breakfast and departure towards Lake Nakuru. Drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley arriving at Lake Nakuru in time for an afternoon game drive. Explore the park, famous for its rhino sanctuary, birdlife, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and stunning landscapes. Dinner and overnight near Lake Nakuru.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Nairobi
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park with opportunities to spot rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes, waterbucks and various bird species. Later depart for Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off is available at Nairobi CBD and selected hotels in Westlands and Kilimani. Airport drop-off can be arranged upon request.
