7-Day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha & Amboseli Group Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Pick-up begins from selected hotels in Westlands and Kilimani before meeting the rest of the group at Nairobi CBD. Airport pick-up can be arranged upon request at an additional cost. Depart Nairobi and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for breathtaking views and photography. Continue to Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your safari camp.
Day 2: Full-Day Masai Mara Game Drive
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day shared game drive across the endless plains of Masai Mara with a picnic lunch inside the reserve. Search for the Big Five including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and rhinos, as well as cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras and many bird species. During the Great Migration season (July–October), witness one of nature's greatest wildlife spectacles as millions of wildebeest and zebras move through the Mara ecosystem. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru National Park
Enjoy an early morning game drive before breakfast and departure towards Lake Nakuru. Drive through the beautiful Great Rift Valley arriving for an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. Explore the park's famous rhino sanctuary and search for flamingos (seasonal), giraffes, buffaloes, lions and other wildlife. Dinner and overnight near Lake Nakuru.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Nakuru before continuing to Lake Naivasha. Arrive at this beautiful freshwater lake and enjoy optional activities including a boat safari to view hippos and birds or a walking safari at Crescent Island. Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli National Park
After breakfast, depart Lake Naivasha and drive towards Amboseli National Park. Enjoy scenic views as you travel across Kenya towards the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive in Amboseli, check in at your accommodation, relax and enjoy dinner before overnight stay.
Day 6: Full-Day Amboseli National Park Game Drive
Spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Famous for its large elephant herds and spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli offers some of Kenya's best wildlife photography opportunities. Look out for elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, hippos and many bird species. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.
Day 7: Amboseli – Nairobi
Enjoy an early morning game drive offering a final opportunity to capture wildlife with Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Return for breakfast before departing Amboseli for Nairobi.
