This 6 Days Kenya Midrange Safari brings together Amboseli’s elephant country, Lake Nakuru’s rhino-viewing opportunities and the wildlife-rich plains of Maasai Mara. Travel from Nairobi with your own driver-guide in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser, staying in comfortable lodges and tented camps.

The itinerary includes two nights in Amboseli, one at Lake Nakuru and two in Maasai Mara. It suits travellers who want to visit three established wildlife destinations within six days and are comfortable with a longer road transfer between Amboseli and Nakuru.

Amboseli: Elephants and Kilimanjaro Views

Spend time exploring Amboseli’s wetlands and open plains. Watch for elephants, buffaloes, zebras and birdlife, with Mount Kilimanjaro providing a striking backdrop when the weather is clear.

Two nights allow a full day for wildlife viewing, alongside time to enjoy your accommodation.

Lake Nakuru: Rhinos and Lakeside Habitats

Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park for a change of scenery. Explore woodland, grassland and lakeside habitats while looking for rhinos, giraffes, buffaloes and birds. Flamingo numbers vary with lake conditions.

Maasai Mara: Predators and Open Plains

Enjoy an afternoon game drive and a full safari day in Maasai Mara. Your guide will choose routes according to current wildlife activity, weather and road conditions.

During migration season, the itinerary can explore areas used by migrating herds where practical. Animal sightings, herd locations and river crossings cannot be guaranteed.

Your Own Private Safari

Your vehicle and driver-guide are dedicated to your travelling party. Share your interests, dietary requirements and room preferences before booking so we can tailor the arrangements.

For a more relaxed journey, request an additional night at Lake Naivasha between Amboseli and Nakuru. A Diani Beach extension can also be arranged through a separate quotation.
