3-Day Masai Mara Group Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve
Pick-up begins from selected hotels in Westlands and Kilimani before meeting the rest of the group at Nairobi CBD. Airport pick-up can be arranged upon request at an additional cost. Depart Nairobi and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for breathtaking panoramic views and photos. Continue to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at your safari camp. In the afternoon, embark on your first exciting game drive in search of lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and many other wildlife species. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara National Reserve
After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive across the vast plains of the Masai Mara with a picnic lunch in the reserve. Explore different areas of the park while searching for the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles and abundant birdlife. During the Great Migration season (July to October), witness thousands of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River in one of the world's greatest wildlife spectacles. An optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village can be arranged. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara – Nairobi
Enjoy breakfast before checking out of your accommodation. Depending on the departure schedule, you may have a short morning game drive en route out of the reserve. Begin your return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off is provided at Nairobi CBD and selected hotels in Westlands and Kilimani. Airport drop-off can also be arranged upon request at an additional cost.
